"I started taking HMB after the 2010 Arnold Classic. I competed in the Mighty Mitts grip contest, and although I did okay in the contest, I was disappointed in my performance in a couple events. I started training for the 2011 contest immediately after the event. I have been training my grip 8-10 times a week, and have been training my entire body 3-6 times per week. With 3 little girls, working full-time, and running two businesses from home, I don’t have much time to sit down and relax.
I currently take 2-4 grams of HMB daily. When I first started taking HMB, I noticed that I had really good workouts on days I took the supplement. Since ramping up my full body workouts to 6 times a week with daily HMB use, I have noticed better muscle and central nervous system recovery. I feel that HMB has really helped in my quest to build the strongest grip in the world while maintaining my body weight in the 300-pound range through hard-core, full-body workouts."
