I just completed my first heavy bench workout this past Friday in preparation for 2011 Mr. Olympia Invitational. I am 6 weeks out and I went with 675, 765, and 855lbs off 4 boards(see link below for footage of this). I am also working into a new bench shirt the Super Katana A/S and it seems to do the trick. Once I get the groove dialed in I can work on more technique on my bench. I plan on going to war with the 800lb club and hopefully end up with my feet firmly planted. As always HMB is helping me improve my bench by helping me with recovery and I assure you I need it :) I will keep you posted on my progress.
