Tollakson wins the Subaru Ironman 70.3 Eagleman

With a tough lineup of competitors yesterday in the Subaru Ironman 70.3 Eagleman, TJ Tollakson was able to push ahead and take home the gold.  Tollakson started in the leading pack out of the water and during the bike split pulled ahead setting a new race best at 2:03:41 for the bike split.  Trailing him were James Bowstead (4:18 down), Terenzo Bozzone (4:19 down), Stanslav Krylov (4:33 down), and Matty Reed (4:42 down).  TJ held strong throughout his half marathon run and took the win with an overall time of 3:54:39!

TJ will be competing again in two weeks in the Buffalo Springs Ironman 70.3.  We are very proud to have TJ Tollakson as a part of Team HMB and can’t wait to see how the rest of the season plays out.
