On Thursday, July 20th The World Games commenced in Wroclaw, Poland.  The World Games were first held in 1981 and are meant to contest sports that are not represented at the Olympic Games.  One of these sports includes powerlifting.

Our athlete Priscilla Ribic represented the USA for her 4th time at the World Games.  Priscilla ended her performance with a back squat of 235 kg (518 lbs.), a bench press of 160 kg (352 lbs.), and a deadlift of 240 kg (529 lbs.) for a total of 635 kg (1,399 lbs.).  This performance brought her home the silver and her 4th podium finish at The World Games.  She also set the M1 World Record in the bench press and total.  We are very proud of her performance and look forward to watching the rest of her year play out.

Priscilla will be competing next at the World Masters Powerlifting Championships in October.  Learn more about Priscilla and her competitive history here.
