Sam Dancer kills the 13.1 CrossFit Open

Blog Article ImageLast Wednesday was the day CrossFit athletes have been waiting for… the unveiling of the first workout for the 2013 CrossFit Open.  Sam Dancer killed the 13.1 WOD (workout of the day) with a whopping 190 reps!  With nearly 138,000 athletes competing worldwide this score placed Sam 24th in the world!  A big congrats to Sam for his phenomenal performance this past week.

Workout 13.1 (men):
Proceed through the sequence below completing as many reps as possible in 17 minutes of:

40 Burpees

75 pound Snatch, 30 reps

30 Burpees

135 pound Snatch, 30 reps

20 Burpees
165 pound
Snatch, 30 reps

10 burpees

210 pound Snatch, as many reps as possible
