It’s a great feeling to know you have helped someone achieve their goals! My friend, who I’ve been helping out, has nearly reached her 30 pound weight loss goal in only a few short months! She looks fabulous and her confidence in herself has sky rocketed! By seeing her achievements, it only pushes me more to stay focused on mine.
I’m ready to showcase my hard work with a photo-shoot planned for May 17th. It seems so far away but people do not actually realize all the work that goes on behind the scenes to prep for a high-quality shoot. Together, with the distinguished photographer, Tom Newberry, we work out the details of the types of shots I want to capture and the look I want to portray. He then sets up the studio accordingly for when I arrive because these details can make or break a photo.
Until then, my hard work continues in the weight room. I have been pushing myself into heavier workouts and some extra cardio. I am thankful for HMB and its exceptional recovery attributes. I use to supplement with a lot of Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs), but over the past 8 months my supplement routine has simplified. It consists of HMB, Fish oil, a multi-vitamin, and whey. That’s it. HMB has replaced my additional intake of BCAAs, (because there is some in my whey). Could I increase my strength and mass and enhance my recovery and so forth with additional supplements? Sure, but right now simplicity overrules a mix and match method. I live by the KIS method (keep it simple).
