Q&A: Olympic Weightlifting Extension

JUMP! You must learn to let loose. Sometimes, learning to do this with a heavy weight can be scary. So, just use the bar and slowly add weight as you get more comfortable. You will still be extending into the bar equally hard with your max weight, but the weight of the bar will hold you down more! Also, try getting to a good weightlifting coach (at least a couple times).
