New Training: Shock Cycle

Blog Article ImageMy training has been going great, I just got through a 3 week shock cycle.  I would work out for 2 weeks, then rest and hopefully grow a little on the 3rd week.  The workout was broken down like this:  Monday, 10 exercises of biceps, 8-12 reps per exercise, 15 second rest in between exercises…..once all 10 are done, rest 2 minutes and repeat all 10 exercises 2 more times through.  That was followed by triceps under the same format.  Tuesday was same concept with shoulders.  Wednesday was 16 leg exercises, rest 15 seconds in between exercise, once all 16 were complete, rest 2 minutes and repeat 2 more times.  Thursday was chest and then followed by back with 10 exercises each and then Friday was calves.  Needless to say, after 2 weeks of that, my body was about as sore as I have ever been.  I was taking HMB like crazy during these workouts, especially during the rest week and it helped tremendously.  May 12th is the next competition for me. I just can’t thank HMB enough for what it has done for me, being 42 years old and in the best condition of my life, I could not have done this without HMB.  I’m looking forward to hitting the stage again soon.
