Keep Changing It Up and Making Gains

Blog Article ImageMy summer has gone well, kids are now back to school and I am coaching youth football once again.  I coach 4 nights per week for 2 hours on top of my own training everyday and of course my full time job.  Life is busy, but no matter how busy you are if you want to make changes in your life and live healthy you can always find the time. But it has to be important to you. 

My training has been pretty good this summer.  I have hit some new PR's in the gym, which is always kind of fun.  I don't mold my training around how much weight I can lift, but at times it is nice to know that you are getting stronger and growing! 

I say this all the time but I mean it.  Next month I am turning 44 years old and I am without a doubt in the best shape of my life and HMB is a HUGE part of that.  Once you are at my age, making gains in the gym takes more effort than when you are younger and without HMB there is no way my body would recover the way I need it to in order to keep making those gains.  Hands down, one of the best supplements on the market!  I will keep pushing through the fall and winter and then will be getting ready to take home some titles (hopefully about 3 or 4) in 2014. 

Keep pushing yourself and remember to change up your workouts every now and then.   Change the movements, the reps, the timing and tempo, never fall in a mode of doing the same thing all the time.  Get some HMB and start moving yourself into where you should be, not where you want to be.
