This weekend one of the biggest triathlon events took place in Kona, HI; the Ironman World Championships. Tens of thousands of athletes attempt to get a spot at this event, but only 1,800 are selected to compete. Each competitor has to complete a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, and finish with 26.2 mile run. TJ Tollakson was one of the athletes that qualified for this elite competition and finished with a time of 8:54:00, placing him in 38th. We are very proud to have TJ as a part of Team HMB and that HMB has been able to aid him in his training/competitions. TJ has had a very successful year and we can’t wait to see what next season will bring!
