Unloading the weights afterthoughts:
This is the beginning of the beginning. It is the start of something fresh. It is the first step into a new room. I have been having a pretty bad aftertaste in my mouth for the last couple competitions so now it’s back to the drawing board to map out my new plan of attack. I sat down with my coach and we came up with a path to go down away from the beaten one. My eyes are now fixed on the 2012 USPA National Powerlifting Championships in July giving me a complete training cycle to get there. Today being the first day on that path was a wakeup call. Started light, but with an abundance of sets sent my muscles a reality check. It is only going to get harder from here and the weight is going to get heavier.  I may not be there yet, but I’m closer than I was yesterday.
