Gillingham and Weite both take 1st at the USAPL Nationals!

This past weekend Brad Gillingham and Nick Weite competed in the USAPL Nationals in Bay St. Louis, MS!  Each of them had a great day of lifting.

Brad Gillingham competed in the SHW class.  Brad squatted 865.3lbs, pressed 584.2lbs, and pulled 870.8lbs for a total of 2320.3lbs.    He took first place in his class and qualified for the IPF World Championships!  Here is footage from him squatting that day… http://youtu.be/sgnO8aUWTig

Nick Weite competed in the 275 weight class and was able to go 7 out of 9 in his lifts yesterday.  He squatted 859.8lbs, pressed 589.7lbs, and pulled 804.6lbs for a total of 2254.2lbs.  Nick also took first place in his class and won best lifter award in the heavyweights.  Nick also qualified for the IPF World Championships that will take place this fall.  Here is footage from him squatting and benching that day… http://youtu.be/fSnHH3c5R5A

We are very proud of each of these athletes and are glad that HMB has been able to aid them in their training!  We look forward to seeing how each of them will compete in the IPF Worlds this fall!
