8 Weeks Out

Blog Article ImageMy training is going great right now. I am just a little over 8 weeks out and in full training and diet mode for a shot at the title!  I have been hard at it for a while now.  This week I am doing a quick re-feed for my body, so upping my calories to recoup from last 2 weeks of German Competition Training.  This week, my diet consists of the following:

  • 2.5 lbs of Meat per day:grass fed Beef, Elk, Ostrich, Bison and Fish
  • 5 servings of assorted vegetables per day
  • 4 protein shakes per day
  • 2 servings of Cashews and Almonds
  • 2 extra servings of carbs per day, which consist of sweet potatoes, brown rice, gluten free pasta and fresh fruit.  

Added to this re-feed is upping my daily dose of HMB to 6 pills per day to help aid in recovery.  At just over 8 weeks out I am at 205lbs and 6.2% body fat.  After this week of re-feed I should be at about 208lbs and same body fat after destroying my muscles for the last 2 weeks. 

Everyone wants to get bigger and stronger and people are always asking me what to do and how to do it.  The first and most important thing is your diet.  What are you actually putting into your body?  If you put trash in, trash comes out.  Eat right and train hard and take the right supplements (HMB) at the right time and you will hit your goals.  Feeding your body the right way is 70% of achieving success.   Stay tuned for next update.  I’m getting closer everyday to dominating in Illinois!
