My training is going great. I have turned up the dieting a notch now that I am only 10 weeks out from the NGA Pro Universe. I started a new workout this week that I will be incorporating for the next 4 weeks. It’s concentrating on all my muscle fibers and many different tempos in order to work every muscle in as many ways as possible in order to fully fatigue and strengthen them. This new program will help me obtain and maintain as much muscle mass as possible while cutting weight. The next 4 weeks will include the same type of workout for each body part. Each body part will have 4 different exercises with 4 different rep counts as well as eccentric tempos. Then I will move immediately from one exercise to the other without rest. Once all 4 have been completed I take a 2-minute rest and then repeat 3 more times through. Here is an example.
Standing Leg Curls - 2 reps with a 5 second eccentric count
Lying Leg Curls - 4 reps with 4 second eccentric count
Straight Leg Deadlift - 8 reps with a 3 second eccentric count
Bent Knee Deadlift with Clean Grip - 16 reps with a 2 second eccentric count
I will be pushing hard for next 9 weeks working towards bringing home the title of the NGA Pro Universe. Through this workout and the dieting I am so thankful to have HMB, it is truly the one supplement that I know I can't do without. There are very few supplements that a bodybuilder can't live without and HMB is one of them. I would highly recommend to everyone that is trying to achieve their fitness goals to get this supplement and make it the one they can't live without. Stay tuned for more updates.
